The Art of HER
Welcome to Wild Moon
First of all... I'm so freaking excited you're here.
The hardest part is officially over—you booked your session. From here on out, I've got you.
This guide is here to answer your questions, walk you through what to expect, and help you feel completely prepared before your session day. Don't worry if you've never done anything like this before. In fact, most of my clients haven't.
You don't need to know how to pose, what to wear, or how to feel confident in front of the camera. That's my job. My goal is for you to show up, trust the process, and let me take care of the rest.
This experience is about so much more than beautiful photos. It's about taking a day for yourself, celebrating the season you're in, and seeing yourself in a way you may not have in a long time.
I seriously can't wait to welcome you into the studio and create something incredible together.
Let's do this, babe.
Your Next Steps
- Schedule your consultation where we'll talk on the phone for 15 - 20 mins planning out your session, picking your collection, and answering any questions.
- Complete your questionnaire
- Choose your collection (or we'll do it together on your consultation)
- Set up a payment plan if needed.

SLAY ALL DAY PREP

Stretch It Out
Beautiful makeup starts with healthy skin.
This might sound funny, but seriously... start stretching!
Boudoir is basically yoga in lingerie. 😅 You'll be arching, pointing your toes, balancing on one leg, and moving your body in ways you probably don't every day.
Spend a few minutes stretching your back, hips, legs, calves, and even your feet. (Trust me... I've seen plenty of foot cramps over the last 8 years.)
Take Care of Your Skin
In the Weeks Before Your Session
Do:
Drink plenty of water
Moisturize daily
Exfoliate your face and body 1–2 times a week
Keep your lips hydrated
Avoid:
At-home self tanner
Trying new skincare products
Tretinoin or harsh exfoliants right before your session
If you want a tan, I highly recommend booking with a professional spray tan artist a few days before your session.
Hair, Nails & Self-Care
Treat yourself—you deserve it.
If you're planning to color your hair, do it about a week before your session. I also recommend a fresh manicure and pedicure (neutral colors always photograph beautifully).
If you wax, dermaplane, or shave, schedule it a few days beforehand to give your skin time to settle.
WHAT TO BRING
Remember you don't need to buy a whole new wardrobe.
Your session includes access to our 600+ piece client closet (XS–6X), and I'll help style everything once you're here.
If you'd like to bring a few personal pieces, I recommend:
1–2 outfits you already love
A pair of heels (optional)
Jewelry or accessories
A nude or black strapless bra
Sentimental items like a partner's shirt, jersey, veil, leather jacket, books, flowers, or anything uniquely you
A Quick Lingerie Tip
Leave the baby dolls at home.
I know they're comfy and they feel "safe," but they hide your shape on camera.
Instead, think:
Bodysuits
Matching bra & panty sets
Teddies
Lace
High-waisted sets
Oversized button-downs
Your favorite jeans
Don't stress if you don't have much—that's exactly why the client closet is here.
Bridal Sessions
Bring any bridal details you'd love to include:
Veil
Wedding shoes
Jewelry
Bouquet or a few stems
Garter
Dress or sleeves
Anything sentimental from your wedding day
AJ's Favorite Places to Shop
If you decide to add a few pieces to your wardrobe, here are some of my favorites:
Lounge
Honey Birdette
Intimissimi
Bluebella
Adore Me
Savage X Fenty
Love, Vera
Torrid
Amazon
Shein
Remember you absolutely do not need to go shopping before your session. The client closet has hundreds of options waiting for you.
SESSION DAY
Your session begins at 9:00 AM at our private studio in Cabot, Arkansas. Take the day off, put your phone on Do Not Disturb, and let today be all about you—we've got the rest covered.
Before You Arrive
Please eat breakfast! Seriously. You'll be moving a lot more than you expect, and you'll feel so much better with some fuel in your system. (No, breakfast won't make you look bigger in your photos. I promise.)
Before you head to the studio:
- Clean, dry hair & a clean face (no makeup)
- Exfoliate, moisturize, and shave if needed
- Wear loose, comfy clothes to avoid marks on your skin
- Bring an open mind—we'll take care of everything else.
Shoot Day Timeline
This is where your timeline belongs.
9:00 AM | Hair & Makeup
Grab a coffee (or tea!), settle in, and let our professional hair and makeup artist work her magic. We'll chat about the look you're going for while you relax. Light snacks and drinks are available throughout the morning.
10:30 AM | Wardrobe Styling
Next, we'll head to the client closet. I'll pull pieces in your size and style, you'll try everything on in private, and together we'll narrow it down to your favorite looks. I'll style each outfit so you don't have to guess what works best on camera.
11:00 AM | Your Photoshoot
Now for the fun part.
You'll choose the sets you'd like to use, and then I'll guide you through every single pose from head to toe. You don't need to know what you're doing—that's my job. I'll direct everything from your fingertips to your facial expressions so you can simply relax and trust the process.
After Your Session | Same-Day Image Reveal
Once we're done shooting, we'll take a short break before sitting down to view your images together.
Your gallery won't be fully retouched yet that happens after you purchase your images but you'll get to see just how incredible you already are. Together we'll choose your favorite images and finalize your collection.

Choosing your collection
One thing we'll cover during your planning consultation is which collection best fits your vision, budget, and what you'd love to take home from your session. There's no pressure to decide today. This page is simply here so you can start looking over your options before we chat. If you decide to use one of our in-house payment plans, we'll get everything set up before your session so your image reveal is relaxed and stress-free. We also accept Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, and PayPal Credit if you'd prefer to finance your purchase through a third party.
Most Wild Moon clients choose between 20–30 images and invest between $3,500–$4,500.

THE ART WORK

YOU DIDN’T GET HALF NAKED TO LEAVE YOUR PHOTOS ON AN IPHONE.

Your Products are Picked Out & Ordered... Now what?
- You will be sent your digital gallery within 7-10 days after your same day image reveal when they are fully retouched and your products will be ordered that day as well!
- Products take 8-10 weeks to produce. Everything is custom & handmade at various professional labs throughout the world - quality takes time. Please keep this in mind if you have any deadlines when ordering. You'll want to book your session at least 10 weeks before you need your products.
- You've probably heard it before on social media but we will say it again... Printed Photos hit different. Seeing yourself printed out on luxury art paper paper, sleek metal wall art or in a custom album is such an amazing feeling. Digitals are great to have on hand but holding a timeless product where YOU are the art... well that is pretty f*cking cool..
- This part of the boudoir experience might be the "end" but I know it's not the end of us! I can't wait to see you hanging out in the Confident Community on Facebook or even sharing a couple of your spicy photos on the 'gram ;)

FAQ
What if I don't know what to wear or how to pose?
Perfect! That's exactly who this experience was designed for. You'll have access to our client closet (XS–6X), and every pose is fully guided from head to toe.
Can I make payments before my session?
Absolutely. Many of our clients choose to make monthly or bi-weekly payments leading up to their session so everything is paid off before they arrive.
When do I choose my collection?
You'll select your collection before your session and you're always welcome to upgrade before or during your image reveal.
Can I bring someone with me?
Our studio is a private, women-only space, so guests are not permitted during your session. However, you're welcome to bring your spouse or partner to your same-day image reveal with advance notice.
Do I have to share my images?
Absolutely not. Your privacy comes first. Your images are never shared unless you give us written permission.
What if I'm nervous?
Perfect. Almost every woman tells me she's nervous before we start, and almost every woman tells me she wishes she'd done it sooner.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE TRAVELING

THE ULTIMATE TRAVEL GUIDE

If you're feeling a few butterflies right now, that's completely normal. Almost every woman who walks through my studio tells me she was nervous beforehand.
But here's the thing—you've already done the hardest part. You said yes to yourself.
From this point on, I've got you. I'll guide you through every step, answer your questions, and make sure you feel completely taken care of before you ever step in front of my camera.
On the morning of your session, take one last look in the mirror and remind yourself:
"I am beautiful. I am worthy. I deserve this experience."
Then come ready to laugh, have fun, and let me show you the version of yourself everyone else already sees.
I can't wait to celebrate you.
xoxo, AJ
